The honey show will be held in the small hall at the same time as the Holsworthy Craft Fair is held in the main Memorial Hall
Again there will be four classes with entry restriced to those members who have never won a first prize at a honey show. There are three novice classes for honey where the emphasis is on honey taste and aroma and although presentation will be taken into account, especially looking at clean, full jars and lack of foreign bodies, perfect presentation will not be required.
The novice class for a wax block will be judged on wax quality and perfect presentation will not be required.

Now is the time to start preparing your exhibits. It really is not difficult to show honey, wax and other bee products and the branch show is a very friendly event that provides a great opportunity for novices to start on their honey show career. Your bees have worked hard this year to produce honey, they deserve to have their efforts shown off to all at the show.
